How Well Is Your AWS Environment Architected?
Is your company constantly monitoring and tuning their AWS environment to enable continuous improvement?
Does your company have controls in place to ensure their information is secure?
Is your company’s environment setup to recover quickly from failures?
Are they performing all tasks in a matter to efficiently allow for business evolution?
And are they paying more than they should be to meet all of these criteria?
As an AWS Well Architected and Advanced Consulting Partner, Lightstream has the industry experience and tools required to align your company’s AWS environment, the polices they have around it, and procedures they use to support it, to the best practices suggested by AWS. Cost optimization practices are followed as well to make sure your company is receiving the most benefit for their monthly reoccurring AWS cost.
Once your team engages in this low touch assessment, Lightstream will schedule a kick-off call where we explain the process, the timing, and the deliverables your team can expect. Your team is invited to be as involved in the process as they would like, but with the use of the latest technologies, Lightstream has the ability to assess the largest part of your environment using automation, and then follow-up with your team to address policy and procedural questions. It is important to understand that this exercise is not to expose fault at any level, but to make sure your AWS experience is nothing short of exemplary.

The AWS Well Architected Review process primarily focuses on the six pillars outlined below.
Operational Excellence: Running and monitoring your company’s systems and mapping a plan to continually improve their processes and procedures.
Security: Protecting your company’s information and systems.
Reliability: Making sure your company’s workloads are performing their intended functions and make sure they recover quickly from failure to meet industry demands.
Performance: Focus on structured and streamlined allocation of IT and computing resources.
Cost: Avoid unnecessary expenses through cost optimization.
Sustainability: Minimize environmental impacts of running cloud workloads through optimization best practices.
Upon completion of the automated and team interview process, a follow-up meeting will be scheduled with your team to review and prioritize the findings and recommendations by our AWS experts. During this meeting we collaborate with your team to determine a scheduled set of action items for addressing these high-risk findings. If these identified high-risk items are remediated, and approved by AWS, funding may be available to assist with the expenses.
